Kris Broughton is a 1989 graduate of Emory University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature. As a South Carolina native, he grew up around some of the world's best liars and storytellers. Kris has spent the last ten years working in the financial services industry. He has attended numerous writers workshops in Georgia and South Carolina. Kris credits his first creative writing workshop, hosted at Emory University by Clark Blaise and Bharti Mukherjee, as his introduction into the lives of serious writers.
Kris Broughton lives in Duluth, Georgia. He is currently working on his first novel, tentatively titled "Bulletin Board". "Bulletin Board", set in Buckhead, the heart of the Atlanta financial district, explores the misadventures of penny stock broker's in the 90's.
