So maybe this is the danger in burying a thought a little too deeply in symbolism and layers. Unless you prefer that pretty much nobody gets your hidden
meaning. Ir there really is one, and you didn't just make one up later. Because you're playful like that. |

Hidden meanings are as much created by the reader as they are created by the writer. Consider how many other ways you can interpret "closing
time". It's a metaphore for all kinds of changes in life, not just popping from mothers. How about death? College students might even find it a
metaphore for the end of schooling and the beginning of a career.
